Buying a home is one of the largest decisions most people make, yet the information about what it is actually like to live in a community is scattered across social posts, forum threads, and word of mouth.

BuilderStudy exists to change that. We ask homeowners the same questions in every community — about home quality, the builder, the HOA, and the neighborhood — and publish the results as community averages. Every answer counts toward the picture, and no individual homeowner is identified.

Our goal is a national database of residential communities and homeowner experiences that homeowners, Realtors, researchers, and builders can all use seriously.
